About Michelle
Having practiced since 2008, Michelle has worked exclusively at Victoria Legal Aid and has held a strong criminal law practice as well as forging a pre-eminent reputation in the field of Family Violence Intervention Orders. Establishing a career in Geelong and then the Western Suburbs, Michelle is very experienced in working with those who come from many different cultural backgrounds.
Michelle is a Family Violence Practice Expert and has participated in the consultations for the Royal Commission into Family Violence as well as a practice area expert in developing Victoria Legal Aid’s Family Violence practice resources.
Advocacy, relationships with the Courts and understanding of her client’s legal and social needs are Michelle’s strengths. She has a long standing respectful relationship with Magistrates and Court staff, which benefits her clients.
